Ruzanna Sergoi Melikyan

She graduated from YSU's Faculty of Pediatrics in 1991-1997, and then completed a clinical residency at YSU's Department of Eye Diseases in 1997-2000.

From 05.02.2018 to 12.06.2018, I took the course "Fundamentals of Optometry" at the University of Latvia's Faculty of Physics, Mathematics, and Optometry.

She studied at the master's department of the same faculty of the University of Latvia from 2018 to 2021, earning a master's degree in clinical optometry.

Since 2017, she has attended numerous optometry and contact correction training courses in various countries.

The 40th ESCRS Congress will be held in Milan from September 16 to 20, 2022.

From September 30 to October 4, she attended AAO 2022 in Chicago.

In 2022 From September 23 to 25, I attended the 20th AECP International Conference in Yerevan, where I co-chaired the Optometry Section with Professors Gunta Krumina and Aiga Shvede of the University of Latvia.

She has been the founder-president of the RA Optometry Association since March 2022.

She worked as an ophthalmologist at the "Holy Astvamayr" Medical Center from 2003 to 2017.

On the occasion of medical workers' day in 2015, the "Surb Astvamayr" medical center received a certificate of honor for her long and impeccable service.

She worked as an ophthalmologist at the "New Look" ophthalmological center from 2017 to 2022.

She has been the founder and director of the specialty store "Look Optic" LLC since 2015. She is now an ophthalmologist and optometrist in a "Luk Optic"-focused salon.

She has been a member of the American Optometric Association and the World Council of Optometry since 2020.
