THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF UNIFOCAL LENS:

Unor®: traditional spherical unifocal

Asphor®: aspherical unifocal

Both are adapted to your visual needs.

For some corrections, aspherical lenses are particularly recommended as they are flatter and therefore more aesthetic.

They are available in all materials; depending on the scale of correction, the material used will make it possible to have the thinnest lens.

Aspheo, for extra wide vision

When driving, at day or night, visual acuity must be perfect. Thanks to Digital Surfacing technology which precisely measures all lens data, the full prescription is taken into account during the lens manufacturing. Thus, the lens is optimised for all gaze directions. With a standard lens, the motorist loses visual acuity on each side and has to turn the head.

In addition to the Aspheo lenses, BBGR also offers Aspheo PdM lenses, which guarantee high quality of vision for non-standard fit settings (in case of too narrow or very large frames, with an unusual pantoscopic tilt angle, and also with rims with extreme curvature).

Lenses Aspheo or Aspheo PdM are particularly recommended for users with a high degree of ametropia.

Aspheo or Aspheo PdM lenses are available with Neva + coating and can be manufactured in a photochromic version using Transitions VI technology.
